We have partnered with logistics and storage service providers to ensure our client’s products are handled and distributed with the utmost care from source to pharmacy.
As a contract manufacturer, we are not limited to any one brand, or type of product, and can produce highly specified solutions as required. Our products are compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA) and Office of Drug Control (ODC) requirements. Backed by scientific evidence and industry best practice, our products are of the highest quality.
Sourcing & Supply
We source a wide range of raw materials and finished products from our global network of cultivators, suppliers and manufacturers. The raw materials for secondary processing include dried biomass, crude oils, distillates and isolates.
For both private- and white-label clients we source GMP patient-ready products. These products include both packaged dried herb and oil-based cannabinoid formulations as well as specialised dosage forms and applications.
Product Compliance & Market Authorisation
We work closely with local and overseas suppliers and manufacturers to ensure all products meet the necessary compliance and quality standards set out by import and distribution authorisations in Australia and New Zealand. We provide product registration services with the relevant regulatory agencies and ensure products are authorised to enter the market.
Import & Export
To service the global demand for high-quality medicinal cannabis products Canngea has built an international network of service providers supporting our supply chain services. Canngea can assist our clients with a range of compliant and secure international logistics solutions.
Storage & Wholesale Distribution
Canngea has the capability to store a wide range of scheduled products for the global market through our storage and distribution 3PL solution. Activities include product receipt, sample storage and testing, stock auditing, secure and compliant storage, and distribution.
We distribute products directly to licenced pharmacies, clinics and dispensaries to fulfil patient prescriptions. We also manage product tracking, auditing and administration to adhere to ODC, TGA and state-based regulations.

Canngea can assist clients with the development of consumer medicine information (CMI) sheets for patients and product information (PI) documents for medical professionals, including:

Pharmacovigilance Reporting
Canngea, as product sponsors, will track and trace each product throughout the supply chain to ensure the highest level of compliance with TGA pharmacovigilance requirements. This includes maintaining a customer service capability to ensure any product complaints are logged, reported to the regulator and resolved.
Clinical Trials & Research
Canngea partners with both academic and private institutes to design and run human and veterinary clinical trials within Australia. One of our key partners for these activities is the University of Sydney.
We are committed to helping develop the next generation of medicinal cannabis scientists and health professionals. To this end, we provide the Canngea Postgraduate Scholarship for high performing PhD students at the University of Sydney.
